In January 2014 I was invited along with the group Tilted Axes to perform on the grounds of Gracie Mansion. Mayor Bill de Blasio opened Gracie Mansion to the public to celebrate his inauguration. It was an icy day and walking the streets to the train that morning with my solid-body electric guitar and tiny Pignose amp was perilous. It was a beautiful day nonetheless.
